White silica gel, or non-indicating silica gel, is a desiccant crafted to control humidity and prevent moisture-related damage. An amazing fact about white silica gel is that it retains its white colour even after absorbing moisture. It is ideal for discreet packaging and applications where colour change is unnecessary. The physical characteristics of white silica gel are semi-transparent and ivory-white.

It can absorb up to 40% of its weight in moisture, and works well even in areas with high humidity. The white silica gel comprises purified silicon dioxide, which is non-toxic, tasteless, and odourless.

The white silica gel is designed to keep its shape and colour intact even when it has reached its full capacity. It works well under a broad range of temperatures (up to 150°F) and remains free-flowing without producing any byproducts. In addition to water, it also adsorbs sulfur and nitrogen compounds, CO₂, hydrocarbons, and more.
